Job description
The Technology Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in administrative functions related to desktop and mobile operating systems and applications for multiple computing platforms, basic/intermediate server experience, and basic/intermediate network troubleshooting while demonstrating exceptional customer service to staff, student, and community users of technology. Strong remote/phone support skills as well as good time management/prioritization skills will also be sought in a successful candidate.
The candidate will support multiple buildings and can expect to travel between buildings in a district-provided vehicle on a daily basis. As such: having and maintaining a clean driving record is required.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Project management?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associates Degree in Technology Science from a recognized college or university
Required:
- 3-5 Year in a technology field.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to obtain or currently hold industry certifications: CompTIA A+, DCSE, MCDST, CCNA, or other OS, hardware, networking, or repair certifications.
- Must hold a valid driver's license as travel is required to provide technical support between multiple buildings., * Associate (Required)
