Job description

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Assistant to join an IT team in Milton Keynes for this UK based distributor. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting users, and keeping business systems running smoothly. About the RoleYou'll be the first point of contact for IT support across the business, providing day-to-day assistance to internal users and ensuring minimal disruption to operations. You'll support a fast-paced environment, including office and warehouse users, so no two days will be the same. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st line IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systemTroubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devicesManage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange)Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and business applicationsEscalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party providersMaintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutionsSupport IT projects, upgrades, and system rolloutsAssist with support of warehouse and logistics systems used across the business

Requirements
