Contract duration: 6 months initiallyPay: £439.46Location: Remote Role OverviewWe are hiring an experienced Infrastructure & Enterprise Engineer III to help modernize and secure the enterprise end-user computing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands-on experience in secure enterprise browser management, modern Windows endpoint administration, and Azure Virtual Desktop. A strong background in secure browser platforms is essential, and experience with Island Browser is highly preferred. You will play a key role in designing, administering, and hardening the browser and virtual desktop experience for enterprise users, while also driving automation, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement. This position combines engineering depth, operational ownership, and a security-first mindset. You will work across endpoint management, browser policy, identity and access controls, virtual desktop environments, and automation to improve user experience, compliance, and resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesSecure Enterprise Browser ManagementAdminister and support enterprise browser environments with a focus on secure browsing, data protection, and policy enforcementManage and harden browser configurations across platforms using tools such as Intune, Group Policy, MDM, and browser management consolesImplement and maintain browser security controls including extension governance, certificate management, authentication controls, and secure access policiesSupport browser-based identity and access integrations including SSO, SAML, OAuth, and related authentication mechanismsPartner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure browser configurations meet enterprise compliance and risk requirementsBring prior experience with secure enterprise browsers; direct Island Browser experience is strongly preferredAzure Virtual Desktop & Modern Workspace EngineeringProvide operational support and engineering expertise for Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pool administration, image management, performance optimization, and troubleshootingHelp deliver a secure, high-performing modern workspace experience for enterprise usersSupport virtual desktop lifecycle activities such as provisioning, patching, monitoring, alerting, and environment optimizationContribute to the stability, scalability, and security of cloud-based end-user computing servicesWindows Endpoint & Core Infrastructure SupportMaintain Windows 10/11 endpoints and Windows Server environments, including patching, application deployment, performance tuning, and system health monitoringSupport enterprise management capabilities across Intune, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, identity management, and related infrastructure servicesTroubleshoot complex end-user and platform issues across browser, endpoint, and virtual desktop layersProvide L2/L3 operational support for infrastructure and workspace servicesAutomation & Operational ImprovementDevelop and
