Job description
· Extract and analyse data for renewable energy publications, annual reporting requirements and external stakeholder requests.
· Develop and maintain performance-monitoring tools and algorithms.
· Support the migration of legacy code and macros into modern programming languages, including Python.
· Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
· Produce internal and external reports on market and operational data.
· Act as a key point of contact for data extraction, manipulation and analysis across multiple projects.
· Collaborate with IT teams to ensure future systems and databases meet business requirements.
· Participate in industry engagements with regulators, government departments and sector stakeholders.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support wider business objectives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, · Degree in a technical, analytical, data, computer science or related discipline.
· Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
· Demonstrable experience in extracting, manipulating and analysing large datasets using coding tools.
· Experience maintaining, updating or converting legacy code, scripts or macros into modern solutions.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Proven problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
· Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable
· Knowledge of the Northern Ireland electricity transmission system.
· Experience within the energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
· Familiarity with electricity markets and renewable energy reporting.
