Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Multimedia Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and delivery of automotive multimedia systems from concept through production release. This role will serve as a key technical leader responsible for cross-domain and cross-generation multimedia programs, working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders., * Lead multimedia system development from planning through launch, validation, and production release
- Coordinate multimedia software releases and align project milestones with global stakeholders
- Define project scope, timelines, and technical requirements for North American programs
- Collaborate with headquarters teams and suppliers to manage schedules, risks, and issue resolution
- Support connected vehicle and multimedia features including:
- Remote Engine Start
- Lock/Unlock Functions
- Vehicle Locator
- Vehicle Status Notifications
- Connected Services
- Telematics & Remote Services
- Perform technical investigations and root cause analysis for in-market issues
- Review system architecture, specifications, and user impact assessments
- Partner with quality, manufacturing, software, firmware, and testing teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Prepare and present technical updates and executive-level reports
Requirements
Do you have experience in Telematics?, The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive multimedia systems, infotainment platforms, connected services, telematics, and vehicle software development., * 3+ years of experience in Automotive Multimedia Systems Development

- Experience managing suppliers and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with connected vehicle services and mobile app integrations
- Japanese language skills
- Executive reporting experience
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers, * Bachelor's Degree in:

$55 - $60 an hour - Full-time, Contract, Work Environment
