Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Multimedia Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and delivery of automotive multimedia systems from concept through production release. This role will serve as a key technical leader responsible for cross-domain and cross-generation multimedia programs, working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders., * Lead multimedia system development from planning through launch, validation, and production release

  • Coordinate multimedia software releases and align project milestones with global stakeholders
  • Define project scope, timelines, and technical requirements for North American programs
  • Collaborate with headquarters teams and suppliers to manage schedules, risks, and issue resolution
  • Support connected vehicle and multimedia features including:
  • Remote Engine Start
  • Lock/Unlock Functions
  • Vehicle Locator
  • Vehicle Status Notifications
  • Connected Services
  • Telematics & Remote Services
  • Perform technical investigations and root cause analysis for in-market issues
  • Review system architecture, specifications, and user impact assessments
  • Partner with quality, manufacturing, software, firmware, and testing teams to ensure successful product delivery
  • Prepare and present technical updates and executive-level reports

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telematics?, The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive multimedia systems, infotainment platforms, connected services, telematics, and vehicle software development., * 3+ years of experience in Automotive Multimedia Systems Development

  • Experience managing suppliers and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams

  • Ability to work in fast-paced development environments with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with connected vehicle services and mobile app integrations
  • Japanese language skills
  • Executive reporting experience
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers, * Bachelor's Degree in:

$55 - $60 an hour - Full-time, Contract, Work Environment
