Job description
The selected candidate will collaborate directly with clients to understand their data-related challenges and questions. Based on this understanding, your technical background, and IC domain knowledge, you will build modern analytic processes, new solutions, scripts and data modeling content. You will serve in a role that is focused on building automated processes, designing data science architectures, conducting analysis, and developing workflows. You will utilize advanced tools for data examination and identify trends to address complex DoD and IC challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Apply exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques to extract insights, patterns, and correlations from complex datasets
-
Create processes around large data sets to identify analytical discoveries
-
Create visualizations for those discoveries that are easily integrated into daily operations.
-
Engage with both structured and unstructured datasets in a modeling and analytics context to develop efficient processes for evaluating complex data sources and addressing unique intelligence challenges
-
Use big data tools to process and interpret diverse datasets, generating meaningful insights
-
Python Scripting
-
Lead and contribute to the creation of new solutions, as well as the enhancement of existing ones
-
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and program managers to break down road map items into actionable tasks, provide time and resource estimates, propose solutions, and assess risk
-
Integrate math, coding, and analytics to derive actionable insights for decision-makers
-
Research and apply optimization frameworks and strategies to inform both data management and analytical activities
Requirements
Eligibility: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph, Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for CI Polygraph (we can sponsor your CI poly if you don't already have one)

Background supporting Intelligence Community operations (either as an analyst or a data scientist to support -INT related missions)
-
Must be able to script at a Senior Level in python.
-
Hands-on experience with data mining
-
Ability to work with large datasets of structured and unstructured data with the ability to create processes to identify analytical discoveries
-
Must be able to create visualizations for data discoveries and provide them in a way that is easily integrated into daily operations
-
Proficiency with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) statistical tools such as MapLarge, Tableau, or MATLAB for data visualization and complex statistical analysis
-
Ability to identify opportunities for system enhancements and new analytic capabilities
-
Experience leveraging government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) data processing and analytics tools to modernize methodologies
-
Understanding of and hands-on experience with advanced analytical methods, and a track record of applying them to meet client needs
-
Knowledge of multi-INT and specialized technology research methods to support operational needs
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical details in an accessible way
