Job description
The Bureau of Information and Technology (BIT) has a full-time permanent position open for a Support Services Analyst. Under administrative supervision, applies depth of knowledge and skill in complex and varied work situations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include imaging and deployment of computers, installing and configuring software and peripherals and assisting users during deployments. Other duties include, but not limited to; troubleshooting hardware/software failures, processing break/fix tickets, replacing network equipment and creating documentation.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, If you are highly motivated, enjoy helping customers, and looking to build a career in IT service delivery, we want you to join our team!, * Associates Degree or 2 years work experience in a related computer support field is preferred;
- valid driver's license required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Microsoft Operating Systems;
- Microsoft Office 365 and Teams;
- Active Directory;
- Microsoft Azure Entra ID;
- ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment;
- ability to identify and resolve hardware/software issues on various computer hardware platforms;
- ability to create and document;
- skill to interface with users via our service delivery system, telephone, chat, or electronic mail;
- communicate well both verbally and in written form;
- manage time, prioritize work and complete work within assigned timeframes;
- provide quality customer service;
- knowledge in the operation of computers and networking.
