Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs, develops, implements, tests, maintains, and enhances new and existing database applications for client or server and web-based environments.
  • Prepares technical and end-user documentation and provides, or assists in providing, training for users of new and existing applications.
  • Provides application, technical, and systems support to departmental staff and public users, including direct content updates and issue resolution for agency personnel.
  • Assists other KDFWR programmers with application design, development, implementation, and testing, and provides hardware, software, and network support, including installation and upgrades for systems outside COT in-scope support.
  • Maintains knowledge of department applications and related databases to support reliable system operation and recommends enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service to the Department.
  • Manages, develops, and maintains content for the Department's website through Microsoft SharePoint, including updates to improve accessibility and ADA compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT department experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, EDUCATION: High School graduate.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Six years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education in Information Technology (IT) or a related field will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional experience in IT or a related field will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis OR a certification in an IT-related field will substitute for the required education.
