Job description
IT8 USA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the continuity, efficiency, security, and reliability of the organization's technology environment. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, maintaining hardware and software systems, supporting network operations, and ensuring the stability of IT services across the organization.
The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues while maintaining a high level of customer support., * Provide technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, system, and connectivity issues in a timely manner through remote or onsite assistance.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, operating systems, user accounts, applications, and peripheral equipment to support business operations and employee onboarding.
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, network equipment, wireless systems, printers, telephony systems, and access control technologies.
- Monitor system performance, security, and reliability by performing routine maintenance, updates, audits, and preventative measures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Administer user access, data protection, backup processes, and security protocols in accordance with company policies and best practices.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, system configurations, and support activities.
- Participate in IT projects, system implementations, infrastructure improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user productivity.
- Conduct routine system reviews and verifications to support system integrity, compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and overall technology reliability.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Foreign language proficiency?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work onsite in Pflugerville,TX.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft-based environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- English and Spanish fluency is required due to regular communication with Spanish speaking employees and systems.
Technica Skills & Systems Experience
Experience with one or more of the following technologies is preferred:
- VMware vSphere and virtualization environments
- Windows Server administration
- UniFi networking solutions
- WatchGuard firewalls
- Apache HTTP Server
- FileZilla
- Network infrastructure, wireless systems, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Backup, recovery, and data protection solutions
- Endpoint deployment and device management tools
