Job description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This role blends operational ownership with advanced troubleshooting and technical contribution.

The engineer in this role will actively monitor, remediate, and support client environments while also contributing to network improvements, escalations, and project-based work. The ideal candidate is confident working independently in production environments, comfortable responding to alerts, and capable of solving complex network issues without oversight.

We are a hands-on engineering organization. Everyone contributes to client support and operational excellence., Managed Services & Incident Response

  • Monitor client environments using network and infrastructure monitoring platforms
  • Triage, remediate, and document alerts in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Escalate architectural or cross-domain issues when appropriate
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional after-hours support as needed

Network Engineering & Support

  • Support enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments
  • Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
  • Implement firewall policies, VPN configurations, and segmentation strategies
  • Maintain and improve network reliability, performance, and security posture
  • Collaborate with cloud, systems, and security teams to resolve multi-layered issues
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and support procedures

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Contribute to operational standards and best practices
  • Support automation or process improvements where appropriate, * Issues are resolved with both immediate remediation and long-term improvement in mind
  • Documentation is clear, current, and actionable
  • Escalations are thoughtful and appropriate

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, Preferred Experience

  • 4-7 years of hands-on network engineering experience
  • Experience supporting live production environments
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with VLANs, STP, OSPF, and enterprise routing/switching
  • Experience with Cisco networking platforms preferred
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and VPN technologies
  • Experience in a managed services or multi-client environment preferred
  • Exposure to hybrid or cloud networking environments a plus

Certifications

  • CCNA (required)
  • CCNP or equivalent experience preferred
  • Security or cloud certifications a plus
