Job description
IR is seeking an experienced Observability (Elastic) Developer on behalf of our federal program partner. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain solutions leveraging the Elastic Stack - including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats - to support critical data indexing, search, analytics, and visualization requirements. Experience with Kubernetes and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly valued, as you will be responsible for deploying and managing Elastic solutions in cloud-native environments supporting federal operations., * Design, implement, and optimize Elastic Stack solutions for data ingestion, storage, search, and visualization

Develop and maintain pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and custom integrations

Create and manage Kibana dashboards and visualizations supporting business analytics and operational monitoring

Deploy, scale, and manage Elastic Stack components in Kubernetes environments

Integrate Elastic Stack with OCI services, ensuring secure and efficient cloud deployments

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Elastic Stack performance and reliability

Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application development teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions

Implement security best practices for data protection and access control within Elastic deployments

Stay current with Elastic Stack updates, emerging best practices, and evolving federal requirements
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, * Active Secret clearance (must be in place at time of offer)

2+ years of proven experience developing and managing Elastic Stack solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)

Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing stateful applications

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
-
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced federal environment

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Elastic Certified Engineer certification or equivalent
-
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm)

Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to cloud and data solutions

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, * managing Elastic Stack solutions : 2 years (Required)

Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana or Beats: 2 years (Required)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: 1 year (Required)

Scripting language Python or Bash: 1 year (Required)
