Job description

Boston Retail Solutions is the leading provider of modular barricades, large format graphics, graphic installation, and various facilities maintenance services. Boston Retail Solutions provides environmentally friendly solutions to retailers, mall developers, airports, hotels, contractors and more! The Help Desk Support Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our employees throughout the enterprise. Under direct supervision with guidance as needed, this position is responsible for providing routine end-user support for hardware, software, peripherals, and networking., * Receive and record support requests regarding hardware, software, peripheral support and maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Resolve basic issues independently; refer more complex issues to the next level with the appropriate urgency.
  • Interact and open tickets with 3rd-party vendors as necessary.
  • Onboarding and offboarding personnel.
  • IT project work as assigned for new implementations and configurations.
  • Assist in Q&A for in-house development testing.
  • Environment:
  • Primarily Windows networking, some Apple & Linux
  • Google Workspace and O365
  • Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, networking
  • IP Security Cameras
  • Android cellphones and iPads
  • Remote offices

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, * Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a Help Desk or Desktop Support role.

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and GSuite.
  • Understanding of basic networking and printing.
  • Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve problems, learn quickly, and multi-task.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • General understanding of software development and testing.
