Job description
Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the stability and reliability of network operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems.
- Ensure stability and performance of telecommunications infrastructure.
- Respond to network alerts and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform routine network performance monitoring and checks.
- Coordinate with field technicians and engineering teams.
- Maintain outage records and quality control documentation.
- Execute incident response activities for remote and cloud operations.
- Manage ServiceNow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Conduct remote network surveillance and event response.
- Triage and resolve incidents within established SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for complex troubleshooting.
- Provide customer support through phone, email, and service portals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders during service-impacting incidents.
- Manage and track vendor support tickets.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Telecommunications broadband network operations?, * Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting IP connectivity and hardware-related issues.
- Proficiency with VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams (Visio or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to critical incidents.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Telecommunications environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCST, or Cisco CCNA.
- ITIL Certification.
- Experience monitoring and supporting AWS Cloud environments.
