We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Embedded Software Engineer to join our cutting-edge technology team at STRYKE. If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and have a passion for embedded systems development, we want to hear from you!, * Design, develop, and test embedded software for various hardware platforms using foundational program languages such as C, Python and Go.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into efficient code that meets project specifications.
- Implement and maintain APIs and RESTful services to enable seamless communication between embedded devices and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Optimize software for performance, power consumption, and security in real-time environments.
- Integrate hardware components with software solutions, ensuring compatibility with IT infrastructure standards.
- Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, or Git to manage code repositories effectively.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across Linux-based systems and other operating environments to guarantee robustness.
- Document technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, and user manuals for future reference and compliance purposes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control systems?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Eligible to obtain Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in software development for embedded systems using C or Python and familiar with x86/x64 assembly.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux operating systems, SQL databases (MySQL), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience working with APIs in various applications.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for collaborative development.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies to manage project workflows efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate technical ideas clearly.
Preferred
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience debugging embedded systems.
- Experience with ARM / MIPS / PPC assembly languages.
- Experience with RF Communications systems.
- Knowledge of common wired and wireless network protocol structures., * Bachelor's (Required)
