Job description

Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Network Architecture, and Hybrid IT environments. Experienced in delivering advanced technical support, infrastructure management, and cloud-based solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • 2nd and 3rd line support (remote and on-site)
  • Incident, problem, and request management via ITSM tools
  • SLA/KPI compliance and ticket prioritisation
  • Azure infrastructure support and administration
  • Network design, support, and troubleshooting
  • Escalation handling for complex technical issues
  • Project delivery (cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades)
  • Customer communication and stakeholder management

Requirements

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage)

  • Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure integration)
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions

Network & Security Skills

  • Network architecture (LAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Routing and switching concepts
  • Firewall configuration (SonicWall or equivalent)
  • Wireless and broadband technologies

Core Technical Skills

  • Windows Server Administration
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft 365 (Office 365, SharePoint)
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V)

Tools & Platforms

  • ConnectWise Manage / Automate (or similar ITSM tools)
  • Monitoring and alerting systems

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability

Certifications (Desirable)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
