Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT Support Engineer - III to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing advanced technical support across diverse IT infrastructure environments, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems. The IT Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the Company's technology infrastructure. This role ensures employees have reliable and secure access to systems, software, devices, communication tools, and business technologies necessary to perform their jobs efficiently.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining business continuity, protecting company data, supporting operational efficiency, and implementing technology solutions that align with the Company's long-term goals.

IT Support & Help Desk

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for all employees and departments
  • Respond to IT support requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, network, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain and manage the Company's IT ticketing system
  • Ensure all tickets are properly documented, updated, and closed upon resolution
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment deployment

Workstations, Hardware & Software

  • Set up and configure workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and peripheral devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business software
  • Maintain workstation imaging and deployment standards
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, upgrades, and warranty claims
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and replacement parts

Network, Security & Infrastructure Management

  • Support and maintain local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, internet connectivity, and related infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with firewall management, antivirus protection, and cybersecurity measures
  • Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, and system failures
  • Coordinate with outside IT vendors and service providers as necessary
  • Maintain server, virtualization, licensing, and backup systems
  • Maintain and support NAS (Network Attached Storage) systems
  • Manage onsite and offsite backup systems to ensure data integrity and business continuity
  • Manage and support Company security camera systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, software updates, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with maintenance and administration of building security systems, access control systems, key FOB systems, and related security technology
  • Coordinate installation, upgrades, and repairs for surveillance and security equipment to ensure proper functionality and coverage
  • Manage onsite video access systems including Ring jobsite cameras and remote viewing access

Mobile Device, Hot Spot & MDM Management

  • Manage all company-issued cell phones, tablets, mobile hot spots, and mobile devices
  • Administer and maintain the Company's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform
  • Configure new mobile devices, user profiles, security settings, and access permissions
  • Ensure compliance with Company mobile device policies and security standards
  • Manage device inventory, upgrades, replacements, carrier plans, mobile hot spot plans, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate mobile device activations, transfers, and terminations with wireless carriers
  • Assist with remote wipe capabilities and mobile security protocols when needed

EV Charging Station Management

  • Assist with the setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Company EV charging stations
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers regarding charging station support, repairs, software updates, and connectivity issues
  • Monitor charging station usage and report operational or maintenance concerns
  • Assist with user access management, configuration settings, and network connectivity for charging systems
  • Support future expansion and technology upgrades related to EV charging infrastructure

Security, Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • Ensure security and privacy of company systems, networks, and data
  • Perform regular backups and validate backup integrity
  • Maintain and update the Company's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
  • Assist with cybersecurity awareness and best practices for employees
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity
  • Manage user permissions, password policies, and system access controls

IT Asset Management & Software Licensing

  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Manage asset tagging, tracking, storage, and proper disposal of retired equipment
  • Provide recommendations for equipment replacements and upgrades
  • Assist in preparing annual IT capital budgets and forecasting technology needs
  • Track software licensing, renewals, warranties, subscriptions, and support agreements
  • Work closely with the Controller to manage and maintain software renewals, product licensing, vendor agreements, and annual maintenance contracts
  • Assist with administration and support of QuickBooks software, including updates, licensing, connectivity, and user access management

Systems & Business Technology Support

  • Support business systems including Cyrious, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, Adobe products, phone systems, copiers, printers, conference room technology, audio/video equipment, camera systems, and key FOB/access control systems
  • Assist with website updates, online store support, and related integrations
  • Support digital signage, monitor uploads, and internal communication displays

Training & Documentation

  • Provide technical guidance and support to employees
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guides
  • Train employees on hardware, software, cybersecurity, and best practices
  • Assist with cross-training initiatives and technology-related process improvements, * Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company information and systems
  • Provide occasional after-hours or emergency support as needed
  • Work effectively with third-party IT vendors and service providers
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend technology improvements to enhance company operations and security

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * 5-10 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technology field preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Adobe products, networking, cybersecurity, backup systems, and MDM platforms
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, printers, workstations, peripheral equipment, and business software systems
  • Familiarity with signage industry equipment and software is a plus, including RIP software, Zund, HP, Canon, and Multicam systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware, Cisco, or Azure
  • Experience with virtualization, SQL, website administration, cloud services, QuickBooks, and audio/video systems, * Accountability
