Job description

  • Perform functional and empirical analysis and design of software systems for Benshaw products.
  • Provide full documentation of software designs.
  • Develop firmware for microcontroller-based products.
  • Utilize PC based utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers, power electronic engineers, and other software engineers to design, develop, and debug functional aspects of our motor control and motor monitoring software.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Visual Basic?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with at least 5-7 years of real-time embedded software design experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong C programming skills; familiarity with assembly, C#, and Visual Basic. Experience with ARM and DSP processors desired.
  • A good understanding of hardware
  • Familiarity with industrial communication networking and Ethernet TCP/IP a plus.
  • Excellent communication, time management, multitasking, and planning skills. A track record of success in meeting project timelines.
  • Familiarity with embedded real time operating systems and cybersecurity applications are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support both internal and external individual and team engagement.
  • Detail orientated, independent self-starter
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
