Job description
- Make sure factory processes follow company quality standards
- Will learn to perform process audits in manufacturing plants
- Ensure consistency across multiple plants ("read across")
- Train and align internal auditors to the same standards
- Update and maintain audit checklists and procedures
Quality & Improvement Work
- Track audit findings and follow up on action plans
- Drive corrective actions to fix quality issues
- Identify weak areas in plant controls and improve them
- Help strengthen systems that prevent defects (containment)
Communication & Leadership
- Work with teams across departments and plants
- Lead or support training sessions for auditors
- Communicate quality priorities to leadership
- Build partnerships and influence decisions (even without authority)
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree (any field)
- Experience production processes, or plant environment
- MS Office Suite, basic reporting in Excel.
Key Skills required:
Technical / Quality Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly, paint, stamping, etc.)
- Understanding of audits and quality systems (MQGR, MQAS, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret quality performance metrics
- Problem-solving

- Dental insurance, Onsite position in Toledo, OH. This is a 12 month renewable contract. Day shift (OT during builds)
Entry level role, four year college degree (and a 3-6 month internship is ideal.
This role ensures manufacturing plants consistently follow quality standards by auditing processes, fixing issues, training teams, and driving continuous improvement. You will be interfacing with both UAW and salaried employees.
