Senior Data Architect

Crown Point Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Architect to design and support secure, scalable data and knowledge solutions. This role focuses on database architecture, data modeling, integration, and systems that support analytics, applications, and decision-making., * Design and maintain enterprise data architectures, databases, and data models

• Serve as a subject matter expert for customers, stakeholders, and technical teams
• Work closely with customers to understand needs, provide technical guidance, and translate requirements into solutions
• Develop and optimize relational, NoSQL, graph, and semantic data solutions
• Support data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and application integrations
• Use semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL to structure and query data
• Build and test knowledge graph prototypes and related data solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to integrate solutions into applications and pipelines
• Support documentation, data consistency, governance, and engineering best practices
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, secure environment

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Master's degree?, The ideal candidate has deep database experience, a software engineering background, and the ability to work extensively with customers and internal teams as a trusted subject matter expert. Experience with RDF, graph databases, knowledge engineering, and SPARQL is highly desirable., Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Senior-level experience in data engineering, database architecture, data architecture, or related technical roles
• Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, database design, and data modeling
• Software engineering experience, including APIs, automation, version control, testing, or maintainable code practices
• Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams
• Ability to provide subject matter expertise, technical recommendations, and solution guidance
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, pipelines, or transformation workflows
• Experience with RDF, graph databases, knowledge engineering, ontology development, or SPARQL is highly desirable
• Familiarity with tools such as Protégé, Neo4j, Stardog, GraphDB, Amazon Neptune, Python, or Java is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
