Job description
The Platform Administrator IV is a senior practitioner who leads complex platform changes, optimizes performance, and advances automation. The role partners with engineering and product teams to sustain high availability and consistent service quality., * Lead cluster upgrades, node pool changes, ingress/egress updates, and policy rollouts.
- Optimize resource utilization and platform reliability via tuning, quotas, and autoscaling.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance checks with IaC and GitOps.
- Implement secrets management, RBAC, and image/security controls aligned to enterprise standards.
- Resolve advanced incidents and mentor junior teammates on troubleshooting and RCAs.
- Maintain high quality documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and CMDB accuracy.
- Monitor SLOs/SLIs, capacity, and health dashboards; recommend corrective actions.
- Support lifecycle planning (upgrades, deprecation, refresh) and multi tenant governance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team leadership?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of work experience.
- 5+ years of experience administering container or shared enterprise platforms.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes/OpenShift (networking, storage classes, controllers), and GitOps/IaC.
- Strong skills in observability, incident response, and change controls.
- Effective communication, incident leadership, and mentoring capabilities., * Relevant certifications (CKA/CKAD/OpenShift) and experience with service mesh or API gateways.
Benefits & conditions
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $138,960
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $106,480- $159,720

This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
