Job description
Responsibilities of the Network & Systems Technician will include:
- Respond to client support requests via phone, email, chat, and remote support tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, software, printer, and connectivity issues
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 environments, including user administration and troubleshooting
- Support Windows desktop, Windows Server, and Apple/Mac environments
- Assist with email administration and troubleshooting including Outlook, Exchange, IMAP, and SMTP
- Troubleshoot network-related issues including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless networking, and internet connectivity
- Support backup, recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Serve as an escalation resource for more complex technical issues when appropriate
- Create and maintain detailed support tickets, documentation, and knowledge base articles
- Utilize remote monitoring and management tools to support client environments
- Coordinate with hardware, software, and technology vendors to resolve issues

Requirements
Do you have experience in Ticketing system technical support?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, Position Type: Full-Time Temporary role with potential for permanent hire for the right candidate Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required Experience: 1-2+ years of IT support, service desk, or help desk experience preferred
Hours: M-F from 8AM to 4PM
Our growing technology services client in the Albany, NY area is seeking a Network & Systems Technician to join its client support team. This is a full-time temporary role with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Ideal for professionals with prior technical support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a desire to continue building expertise in networking, systems administration, cloud technologies, and managed IT services., * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
- 1-2+ years of experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, Technical Support, or similar IT role preferred
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems, printers, and common business applications
- Experience using ticketing systems to manage support requests
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support preferred
- Experience with Windows Server environments preferred
- Apple/Mac support experience preferred
- Familiarity with networking technologies, firewalls, and remote monitoring tools preferred
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery best practices is a plus, * Technical support: 1 year (Preferred)
