Technical Solutions Engineer I

This role requires a fundamental understanding of Networking, Security, Virtualization, and Storage technologies. You will assist ATC Architects in scoping lab requests, designing architectures, and building lab environments aligned with specified test plans. Your contributions will include executing test cases, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining high-quality standards within our organization. • Baseline, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot network devices.

• Install VMware ESXi, configure networking and storage, and deploy VMs on ESXi hosts.

• Create and update low level design documentation.

• Create and update test plan documentation.

• Communicate and collaborate with the project team.

• Engage in projects across all phases, including Scoping, Building, Implementing, Teardown, and Archiving.

• Daily walkthroughs of our data centers to ensure the environment and facilities are operating at efficient levels

Do you have experience in Data storage?, Work Experience

• A minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a related field

Other Work Experience

• 1+ years of Rack & Stack/Integration experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• The following certifications are preferred:

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• CompTIA Network+ Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift between 5-50 pounds regularly
• Ability to handle walk ups, direct messages, phone calls, and incoming tickets
• Strong customer service demeanor and interpersonal skills
• Strong communicationskills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and on time with attention to detail
• Ability to independently prioritize and handle workload in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of internet-related technologies and protocols
• Understanding of how to route and manage copper, fiber cables, and power runs
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products like Word, Excel,Outlookand Visio

• Experience with networking technologies such as routers and switches.
• Experience with server hardware from various vendors such as Cisco, Dell, and HPE.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi and vCenter.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $68,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
