Job description

Ideal Partners Staffing is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist for a growing organization in Irving, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career potential for an individual who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and working in a fast-paced IT environment., * Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords through Active Directory
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and asset information within the ticketing system
  • Set up and deploy new workstations, hardware, and software for employees
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users and equipment
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel when necessary
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service while communicating technical information to non-technical users

Requirements

Do you have experience in Desktop administration?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional support to both onsite and remote users., * 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and password resets
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience supporting cloud-based environments and hybrid workforces
