IT Field Service Technician

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency., * Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve software issues using troubleshooting techniques to restore optimal system performance.
• Utilize hand tools and schematics to repair or replace mechanical and electronic components of equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative measures to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide clear, effective solutions tracked with a PSA/HALOPSA Ticketing System.
• Document all service activities thoroughly in company systems, including detailed reports on repairs and diagnostics.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components necessary for field service tasks.

Do you have experience in Network protocols?, * Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar field service role with hands-on experience in equipment repair.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking protocols, and IT systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled in using hand tools for mechanical repairs and adjustments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software issues efficiently.
