Systems Engineer / Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer M/F

Our client, an international group based in Geneva, is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to strengthen its infrastructure teams in a critical international multi-site environment. The role is strongly focused on Microsoft On-Prem infrastructure with advanced expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments. The candidate will be involved in:

• Administration and support of Microsoft Windows infrastructures
• Management of Active Directory / GPO / Exchange On-Prem & M365
• VMware and Veeam administration
• Deployment, maintenance and evolution of physical and virtual servers
• Patch management, monitoring and system performance
• Level 3 infrastructure support
• Documentation and continuous improvement of procedures
• Collaboration with global IT teams distributed internationally
• Occasional participation in out-of-hours interventions depending on international time zones

Demanding international environment with high autonomy and operational responsibilities.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft systems administration
• Strong expertise in Windows Server On-Prem
• Excellent skills in Active Directory / GPO / Exchange
• Good command of Microsoft 365
• Mandatory experience with VMware and Veeam
• Solid hands-on infrastructure background
• Experience in international / multi-site environments appreciated
• Fluent English mandatory
• Microsoft certification such as MCSE appreciated
• Very good troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
• Ability to work autonomously
