(Senior) Development Engineer: Digital Semicustom Design (m/f)

As a Design Engineer , you will design, implement, and verify digital circuit blocks used in next - generation memory products. You will work closely with global design, verification, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, scalable, and manufacturable solutions from concept through silicon validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement digital blocks (e.g., PLL control logic, BIST, DfT ) using semicustom methodologies

• Develop and integrate Place & Route (P&R) blocks, including AI - enabled P&R features

• Perform RTL, functional, and gate - level verification to ensure design quality and reliability

• Set up, maintain , and enhance semicustom design flows to improve efficiency and scalability

• Support silicon bring - up and design validation activities in collaboration with cross - functional teams

• Create clear technical documentation to support design reviews and knowledge sharing

Do you have experience in Verilog?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in RTL design using Verilog or VHDL

• Hands - on experience with synthesis, timing constraints, and static timing analysis (STA)

• Practical experience with at least 3 of the following tools: Fusion Compiler, Fusion.ai, PrimeTime , NCSim , TCL, Perl

• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross - functional environment

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with semicustom design flows in advanced technology nodes

• Exposure to silicon validation and post - silicon debug

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting for design automation

The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is: 76.000,00 € - 128.000,00 € per year.
