Job description

White Logistics is a fast-paced and growing transport business, and we are looking for a reliable, proactive and accountable operator to take ownership of our evening Palletforce operation.

This is a hands-on hybrid role, combining:

  • Pallet network coordination (Palletforce)
  • Live traffic desk support
  • Shift-level responsibility

This is not a reactive role. You will be expected to spot issues early, take control and keep the operation moving., Pallet Network Operations

  • Process outbound Palletforce shipments accurately and on time
  • Liaise with hubs and partner depots
  • Monitor trunk departures and network cut-off times
  • Monitor pallet volumes and ensure trunk capacity is sufficient
  • Track driver availability (holiday/sickness) and maintain cover
  • Plan ahead for seasonal volume peaks and fluctuations
  • Resolve delivery and collection queries quickly and effectively

Traffic & Operational Support

  • Support daily fleet operations
  • Track vehicles in real time and respond to delays
  • Assist with route planning and load control
  • Ensure efficient use of vehicles and drivers

Customer & Service

  • Provide clear, professional updates to customers
  • Take ownership of service failures and drive resolution
  • Maintain strong OTIF performance

Shift Responsibility

  • Act as the main operational contact during your shift
  • Support drivers and maintain operational standards
  • Assist in training and onboarding new starters

Requirements

Do you have experience in Transportation management systems?, * Experience in transport, logistics or pallet networks

  • Confident communicator
  • Organised, detail-focused and able to prioritise workload
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
  • Proactive mindset. Someone who takes ownership
  • IT competent (Microsoft Office / transport systems)

Reliability and attitude are critical - this role requires someone who shows up, takes responsibility and delivers on a daily basis., * Do you have experience relevant to the advertised position?
