Job description

PointSolve Technology, Inc. is looking for a technical support person to help support our current managed Information Technology division for our Lebanon, PA location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing on-site or phone support, troubleshooting and installation.
  • Provide technical support and remote help desk services to clients, escalating when necessary
  • Review current systems and make technical/process recommendations for improving efficiency
  • Identify reoccurring issues in client's environment and proactively provide recommendations to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability of client's network
  • Maintain client documentation
  • Stay up to date with relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems
  • Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry
  • Ability to perform in a call center environment
  • Supporting multiple companies with end user requests and third-party business applications
  • Efficiently communicate with technical and non-technical end users

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, All candidates must have a valid driver's license and their own insured vehicle as this job requires travel in the service area and must also pass a required background check.

Must be a problem solver with experience in Desktops and Microsoft based computing systems.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and a shifted workday on occasion.

Must have working knowledge of some or all the following systems:

Windows 10/11 Microsoft Office Microsoft Office 365 Windows Print Servers and printer systems Basic Network equipment

Knowledge of the following is a plus: Mac OS/Linux

Candidate should also be fluent in the standard functionality of network troubleshooting, dealing with DNS, DHCP, basic IP configurations etc.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience a plus but not required. Qualified individuals without experience will be considered.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Other: Strong communication skills and superior customer service skills are required. Preferred but not required A+ Certification or MCP
