Job description
Supports 24/7 data center operations by maintaining and troubleshooting critical facility systems. Ensures reliable performance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection systems in a high-reliability environment., * Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems (electrical, HVAC, mechanical, fire suppression)
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems
- Complete site rounds, record readings, and escalate issues as needed
- Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions
- Use CMMS to manage and document work orders
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs within guidelines
- Read and follow blueprints, manuals, and procedures
- Perform general facility maintenance (lighting, basic electrical, housekeeping)
- Support fire/life safety systems and inspections
- Communicate with engineers and coordinate work activities
- Assist with system changes following change management procedures
- Provide occasional off-shift and weekend coverage
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * 5-7 years of facilities or building maintenance experience
- Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance experience
- Basic electrical and mechanical repair skills
- Experience with fire suppression systems
- General maintenance skills (plumbing, lighting, building systems)
- CMMS experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in a critical environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments
- Technical training or military background
- Electrical or mechanical license
Benefits & conditions
- Primarily 1st shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 8:00 AM-6:00 PM)
- Occasional 2nd/3rd shift and weekend coverage (12-hour shifts)
- Hands-on work with facility systems in a structured, safety-focused environment
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
