Job description
The Designer, Social & Performance Marketing is responsible for creating high-performing creative across Medical Guardian's paid and organic social channels. This role develops platform-native content that supports customer acquisition, while also driving engagement, education, and brand loyalty through organic social media.
You'll design across the full marketing funnel-from awareness through conversion-adapting messaging and creative approach based on audience, platform, and objective. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Design & Digital Production and partners closely with members of the growth and brand teams to support testing, iteration, and measurable impact., 1. Paid & Organic Social Creative
- Design and deliver performance-driven creative across paid channels (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, etc) that supports awareness, consideration, and conversion objectives.
- Develop engaging organic social content that aligns with brand voice and drives audience engagement (static, motion, and short-form video).
- Produce a high volume of creative variations tailored to different funnel stages, audience segments, and platform requirements.
- Adapt creative to platform-specific best practices across both paid and organic environments.
- Translate acquisition strategy, audience insights, and funnel-stage objectives into clear, compelling design solutions.
- Optimize creative using performance data and engagement metrics to improve results across all channels.
- Performance-Focused Design Systems
- Build and maintain modular performance marketing design systems that enable rapid iteration across multiple funnel stages.
- Adapt brand guidelines to support both brand-forward upper-funnel creative and direct-response lower-funnel execution.
- Ensure creative is scalable, reusable, and optimized for ongoing content production.
- Retouch imagery, edit video, and perform visual enhancements to deliver polished assets.
- Brand Alignment & Quality Control
- Ensure all paid and organic creative aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and quality expectations.
- Execute designs that align with briefs, business objectives, and funnel-specific performance goals.
- Participate in creative reviews and QA to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration & Execution
- Partner closely with growth, creative, and brand teams to align on campaign objectives, content calendars, and deliverables.
- Present creative work clearly with rationale and iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and versioning across multiple campaigns and social channels.
- Support external partners or content creators as needed.
- Marketing Creative
- Develop creative assets for landing pages, email, and partner marketing initiatives.
- Support creative for in-house and external print initiatives, such as event materials, pitch decks, and healthcare marketing assets.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Medical Guardian's visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay current on platform updates and emerging features.
- Apply learnings from testing and performance analysis to refine creative approaches.
- Explore emerging tools, including AI-assisted creative workflows, to improve speed and variation.
- Contribute to a culture of performance-driven creative thinking.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Visual communication design?, * 1-4+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, or digital creative roles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating paid and organic social creative work
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience producing static, animated, and video creative for social platforms
- Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to balance brand storytelling with direct-response performance goals
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate creative decisions
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and digital best practices
- BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
- Candidates must be able to commute to our Philadelphia, PA office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
