Job description
As a key figure in Omicelo's day-to-day technology administration, the IT Specialist will maintain, create, and oversee all aspects of IT services across all the Omicelo companies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Systems Administration and Security:
· Administer Microsoft 365 including Intune, Autopilot, security policies, email
· Administer strong security practices for all IT systems and devices
· Administer and configure cloud-based appliances
· Administer backup solutions for all related data
· Administer DNS
Support and Device Management:
· Administer, maintain and configure Windows PCs
· Manage company help desk
· Assess need for new equipment and/or software
· Work to increase user satisfaction
· Identify and eliminate security risks
· Manage and maintain device security and ensure compliance with organizational policies
· Adjust, maintain, and create cloud-based phone system (RingCentral)
· Adjust, maintain, and create site network configuration/wireless network systems
· Communicate within IT team and across departments as needed
Training and Documentation:
· Develop and provide training to staff on IT systems and security best practices
· Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT processes, configurations, and support guidelines
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technology management?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, Omicelo is looking for an organized, responsive, accountable and efficient IT Specialist to help maintain and build our IT infrastructure across the Omicelo enterprise.
The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and demeanor to work and must possess the key skills of organization, customer service, discretion, effective oral and written communication, prioritization and problem-solving., · Robust and wide understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems
· Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage tasks/projects and escalate issues to manager
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
· Network systems and cloud-based networking
· Ability to synthesize information and make independent decisions
· Manage and adjust processes as business expectations change and evolve
· Initiative and the ability to adapt to a changing environment
Qualifications and Experience:
· Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
· Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in IT systems administration or a related role
· Administrative experience with Microsoft65
