Solution Architect Network/Connectivity

The SPIE ICS (Information Communication Services), SPIE MTS (Multi-Technical Services) and SPIE IFS (Integral Facility Services) divisions offer their services via 8 sites across Switzerland in the sectors of Smart City, energy, efficient buildings and industry.

Your mission

You know how to combine technology, strategies and customer needs. In this role, you develop modern connectivity and network solutions, focusing on added value for the customer and strategic positioning.

You support customers and sales throughout the pre-sales process, from analysis to commercial design through to solution strategy. For this, you combine technical expertise with a good understanding of market trends and customer requirements.

You move comfortably between architecture, consulting and solution design. You contribute to the development of the connectivity and managed services portfolio.

• Development of modern connectivity and network solutions for customers in the fields of enterprise networks LAN/WLAN/SD-WAN/SASE/network security/hybrid and multicloud connectivity/network automation
• Strategic support to the sales team during pre-sales phase at customer workshops, tenders and presentations to customers
• Understanding customer needs by proposing scalable and attractive solutions
• Development of pricing, service and lifecycle models
• Close cooperation with engineers and partners to develop the connectivity portfolio
• Primary contact for customers on technological and strategic questions related to modern network and connectivity architectures

• Education in business management, computer science, engineering or equivalent continuing education (university / UAS / ES or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in the field of ICT solutions, connectivity or network - ideally in a pre-sales, consulting or solution architecture role
• Experience with partners or platforms such as Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet or comparable technologies is an advantage
• Understanding of business issues, managed services and service-based business models
• Strong customer and solution orientation combined with strategic thinking ability
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to convey complex technical topics in an understandable and business-oriented manner
• Very good knowledge of French and English, German is an asset
• Workplace: Bussigny or Satigny
