Role Title: Senior Earnix Developer (SME)Business Unit: InsuranceLocation: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)Employment Type: PermanentRole OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Earnix specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of pricing solutions within an insurance environment.In this role, you will provide technical leadership across pricing architecture, model deployment, system integration, and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with actuarial, underwriting, data, and technology teams to deliver scalable and efficient pricing capabilities.The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Earnix development and enterprise implementations, along with strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance pricing, rating, and underwriting processes. Experience with APIs, Python, cloud platforms, and large-scale system integrations is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for Earnix configuration, customisation, and integration within enterprise pricing systemsCollaborate with actuarial, data, and IT teams to design and implement architecture supporting pricing and rating processesPartner with solution architects and engineers to optimise the end-to-end pricing lifecycle, including data ingestion, model deployment, and monitoringDevelop, enhance, and maintain pricing models and decisioning systems within EarnixEnsure performance, scalability, and reliability of pricing solutions in production environmentsSupport integration with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., policy administration platforms, data warehouses, APIs)Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of pricing modelsTroubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues within pricing applicationsContribute to best practices, documentation, and governance for pricing systems and actuarial processesRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in insurance technology or pricing systems developmentProven experience with Earnix implementationsStrong expertise in Earnix (configuration, modelling, and deployment)Proficiency in Python and handling large datasetsExperience with APIs, system integrations, and microservices architectureKnowledge of cloud platforms (desirable)Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modellingStrong knowledge of P&C insurance pricing and underwritingFamiliarity with actuarial modelling, rating algorithms, and risk segmentationAwareness of regulatory and compliance considerations in insurance pricingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
