Job description

The Associate Director of Information Technology will serve as a key member of the IT leadership team, partnering closely with the IT Director to oversee enterprise technology operations and support strategic business initiatives across the organization.

This position will help lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, technical support, and strategic technology initiatives while supporting the continued growth and modernization of the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT Director in planning, organizing, and managing enterprise-wide IT operations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to IT personnel across multiple locations.
  • Directly supervise, mentor, and develop IT personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and support enterprise infrastructure including:
  • Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure services
  • Virtualization platforms (VMware)
  • Enterprise networking, wireless, VPN, and firewall technologies
  • Storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives including risk management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, incident response, and business continuity planning.
  • Manage IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and operational teams to identify and implement technology solutions.
  • Assist with IT budgeting, vendor management, software licensing, contract negotiations, and technology procurement.
  • Support manufacturing operations, distribution facilities, and business-critical enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, system availability, and service delivery metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Help align technology initiatives with organizational goals and long-term business strategy.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in information technology?, We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director of Information Technology to join our leadership team at our City of Industry, California headquarters., * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience in enterprise environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
  • Proven experience leading IT operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Enterprise networking and security technologies
  • Virtualization platforms
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
  • Experience managing IT projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience developing and managing IT budgets.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and technology procurement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across multiple business units.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site operational environments.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as:
  • CISSP
  • PMP
  • ITIL
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • VMware Certifications
  • Check Point Certifications

Additional Requirements

  • Full-time onsite position based in City of Industry, California.
  • Ability to travel periodically to company facilities throughout North America.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to participate in after-hours support and critical incident response when necessary.
