Job description
- Provide Tier I and Tier II support for hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, file systems, and user accounts.
- Configure and maintain workstations, laptops, servers, and mobile devices.
- Administer cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, and other business-critical apps.
- Troubleshoot network issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN, etc.) and support security measures (firewalls, antivirus, encryption).
- Implement and manage data storage solutions, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
- Support hardware and software asset management and inventory tracking.
- Document IT issues, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Support IT projects and perform after-hours maintenance as required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS administration?, We are seeking a System Administrator to join our team and support our customer's IT operations and maintenance. This position offers hands-on experience across a broad range of IT disciplines including system administration, networking, security, cloud apps, desktop management, and IT support. If you're a skilled IT professional with a versatile background and a passion for technology, this is a great opportunity for you!, * 5+ years of experience in system administration, IT support, or related fields.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Proficient with networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, DNS, DHCP) and security tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and other enterprise software.
- Experience with endpoint management, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, KaseyaAd).
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or A+, Security+ or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar certifications.
- Experience with ITIL practices or similar IT frameworks.
