Job description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting desktop computers, laptops, and related peripheral hardware such as printers and scanners. Responsible for desktop software installations and patching across the organization. This role ensures end-users have reliable, secure, and efficient computing systems to perform their work. Works with Business Analysts to perform upgrades and technical assistance throughout SDLC. Resolve help desk requests on day-to-day issues within desktop systems and peripherals. Implements and maintains the Windows Desktop infrastructure as well as selected applications including Microsoft Office products., * Analyze and resolve hardware, software and printer problems technical troubleshooting processes. Assists Business Analysts with technical needs and implement upgrades as requested. Responsible for performing timely and effective user support services related to LAN Services responsibilities.

  • Support and maintain software and hardware on Windows systems.

  • Monitor IT Help Desk ticketing system and ensure tickets are resolved within a reasonable time frame.

  • Perform PC imaging, deployments, and migrations using standard tools.

  • Support endpoint security and patching.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and support tickets.

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including equipment setup.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and infrastructure initiatives.

  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining product deployment, upgrades, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity procedures.

  • Perform level one and two troubleshooting of workstations and other peripherals. Utilize management tools to deploy, monitor and debug desktop applications throughout the enterprise.

  • Follow internal change management methodology by adhering to documentation and production change control processes when implementing product enhancements and maintenance to ensure a stable production environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * Strong knowledge of Windows OS; macOS knowledge is a plus

  • Understanding of basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP)

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security tools

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently

  • Good communication and customer-service skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications)

  • Experience with imaging tools, remote support software, and ticketing systems

  • College degree is preferred but not required
