Job description

In an atmosphere of continuous growth and learning, we invite employee input and employ active mentoring., Summary: As a full-time Coveros consultant, you will help build and scale test automation as a core capability within a client organization. With a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE and F&O), Playwright-based UI automation, API testing, and CI/CD enablement, you will help establish a sustainable automation foundation across enterprise applications. This on-site, hands-on role is ideal for an Automation Test Engineer who can identify automation opportunities, design reusable frameworks, and embed testing into the delivery lifecycle. As a consultative engineer, you will partner closely with scrum teams to shift testing left, operate effectively in a SAFe Agile environment, and leverage AI tools to improve test design, coverage, and efficiency. Coveros' client is adopting Mabl as part of its automation platform-experience with Mabl is a plus., * Establish and scale a sustainable automation framework (Playwright) with reusable components that enable consistent adoption across teams

  • Build and integrate UI and API automation into CI/CD pipelines, providing fast, reliable quality feedback and supporting release readiness
  • Partner with scrum teams to embed automation into sprint delivery (shift-left), increasing automation coverage of critical business workflows
  • Ensure high-quality validation of Dynamics 365 (CE/F&O) and integrated systems, improving reliability of end-to-end processes
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation standards, defect root cause analysis, and framework optimization
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance test design, coverage, and maintenance efficiency
  • Enable team success by coaching engineers and establishing clear documentation, standards, and best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BS in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation
  • 3+ years of experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE and/or F&O)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Mabl, with exposure to multiple automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with API testing (REST, JSON, authentication)
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) and working within SAFe/Agile environments
  • Proven ability to build scalable, reusable automation solutions and collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working for a professional services firm
  • Experience with Mabl or similar modern automation platforms
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dynamics ecosystem
  • Experience validating Dynamics 365 security roles and access controls
  • Exposure to non-functional testing (accessibility, performance, or security)
  • Experience helping teams scale automation practices in enterprise or regulated environments
  • Candidates located in the Washington, DC metro area (Vienna, VA office location) or Chicago, IL are strongly preferred
