Job description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to support a mission-critical federal program focused on Agile application development, continuous delivery, and national security initiatives. This is a high-impact role supporting cross-functional Agile teams in a secure environment, driving transparency, collaboration, and delivery excellence across the full product lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to operational readiness and mission success. You will serve as a key facilitator and Agile leader, working closely with government stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement., Execute Scrum and Agile methodologies across the full product and application development lifecycle Guide and coach cross-functional teams on Agile principles, team rules, and best practices Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos Remove impediments and blockers to ensure teams achieve sprint and program objectives Promote Agile quality practices and foster high-performing, collaborative teams Coordinate across multiple Scrum teams, product owners, and stakeholders Support Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and level-of-effort estimation activities Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement recommendations Serve as an Agile subject matter resource for teams and stakeholders Advise stakeholders on incremental process improvements to enhance delivery and standardization Encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation across development teams
Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance 8+ years of experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams (in lieu of degree acceptable) Hands-on experience in an application development environment Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint execution Experience working directly with stakeholders in structured, compliance-driven environments Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills, Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar) Experience supporting federal or law enforcement programs Familiarity with Agile metrics, estimation techniques, and continuous improvement practices
