Job description
Universal Orlando is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams and drive the successful delivery of technology initiatives. This individual will serve as an Agile coach, facilitator, and servant leader, helping teams improve productivity, collaboration, transparency, and overall Agile maturity., Agile Leadership & Scrum Practices
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Demos.
- Partner with Product Owners and Release Train Engineers to align priorities and coordinate cross-team activities.
- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and values.
- Guide teams toward self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
- Ensure Agile tools and reporting systems, including Rally, accurately reflect project status.
- Assess team Agile maturity and develop strategies to improve effectiveness and performance.
Communication & Collaboration
- Promote transparency and alignment among stakeholders, business partners, and delivery teams.
- Foster a positive team environment built on trust, accountability, and collaboration.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
- Support conflict resolution and help teams overcome obstacles through problem-solving and coaching.
- Encourage team ownership and accountability without directing or assigning work.
Metrics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain Agile metrics, dashboards, and information radiators.
- Track team progress against objectives and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
- Follow Universal Orlando Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- 5-7 years of Agile/Scrum experience, including at least 2 years serving as a Scrum Master.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching software development teams.
- Experience writing, refining, mapping, and splitting user stories.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) environments.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Experience with Agile estimation, release planning, and retrospective techniques.
- Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience collaborating with Release Train Engineers, Product Owners, and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified SAFe Agilist (SA)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
