Job description

  • Use 2D software / tools (AutoCAD) to confirm / revise / create equipment and process documentation and layouts.
  • Use 3D software / tools (Creo / Inventor) to confirm / revise / create equipment and process documentation.
  • Support PWT Planning in a new initiative to create a robust static digital twin to support future planning functions.
  • Support process planning & verification: Benchmarking, GD & T study and definition, model x model comparison / overlays, process x tooling drawing alignment, process function, verification trial
  • Support equipment planning & procurement: Specification development, bid package development, equipment design verification, manufacturing on-site verification

Requirements

Do you have experience in 3D modeling software?, * B.S. in Engineering preferred but also consider Technical Degree in CAE

  • 3 + years' experience in CAE. Expert in Autodesk applications, in particular AutoCAD Architecture, Inventor Professional, Vault / Vault Data Structure, Revit, ReCap, Navisworks
  • Creo experience plus point cloud data utilization is a bonus. (Nice to have)
  • Need recent experience in 2D and 3D tools, * Technical degree in CAE and/or B.S. in engineering (Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial)
  • Experience in project management responsibility (planning & time management, coordination, reporting)
  • Experience in creating / interpreting product drawings / models, process drawings / models, equipment drawings / models
  • Intermediate to advanced capability in CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Inventor, Navisworks, Vault, Revit, ReCap)
  • Intermediate capability in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing, specifically powertrain assembly and machining.
  • Experience in high volume, automated production.
  • Experience in manufacturing equipment and process specification.
