The Enterprise Imaging Analyst III (Senior) is a senior, hands-on technical and informatics leader responsible for the planning, implementation, optimization, and operational support of enterprise imaging systems in a hospital environment. This role provides advanced expertise in PACS, CPACS, enterprise imaging platforms, and imaging informatics, ensuring imaging systems are stable, secure, and aligned with clinical workflows., Working with a high degree of independence, this role leads moderate- to high-complexity initiatives end-to-end, serves as a primary point of accountability for imaging system changes, and partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders. Within a small, highly specialized team, the Senior Enterprise Imaging Analyst balances technical execution, informatics expertise, and operational leadership, escalating enterprise-level risks and architectural decisions to the Principal Analyst as appropriate., Enterprise Imaging Leadership
- Lead imaging system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, including planning, build, testing, training coordination, go-live, and stabilization
- Serve as implementation lead for assigned imaging platforms, coordinating vendors, IT teams, and clinical stakeholders
- Own assigned imaging applications and workflows, including optimization, lifecycle management, and operational readiness
Imaging Informatics & Clinical Support
- Provide imaging informatics expertise, data analysis, and workflow support to clinical and operational partners
- Support workflow optimization across Radiology, Cardiology, and other image-producing departments
- Translate clinical and operational needs into technical requirements and configuration decisions
Application Support & Operations
- Provide Tier 2 application support for imaging systems, including participation in 24/7 on-call rotations as required
- Proactively monitor system performance and stability; diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Implement system changes using documented SDLC and change management processes
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and usability
Cross-IT Collaboration
- Partner with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Integration, Reporting, Desktop, and Help Desk teams
- Ensure imaging systems meet availability, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity requirements
- Ensure seamless integration between imaging platforms, Epic, and other clinical systems
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior analysts
- Mentor team members in workflow documentation, system configuration, and support best practices
- Act as a trusted subject matter expert influencing decisions across clinical and IT teams
Analysis, Documentation & Communication
- Maintain clear documentation for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements (scope, risks, timelines, dependencies)
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, document decisions and action items
- Research complex issues and present solution options with risk, impact, and trade-off analysis
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in a technical, healthcare, or informatics-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required), * Six (6) or more years of progressively responsible experience in Enterprise Imaging, PACS, CPACS, imaging applications, or imaging informatics
- Demonstrated leadership of at least two (2) major imaging system implementations or upgrades (required)
- Demonstrated experience with imaging informatics, reporting, and data analysis (required)
- Experience supporting or leading Epic-related imaging or clinical system upgrades (preferred)
Core Competencies & Skills Technical & Informatics Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of PACS, enterprise imaging platforms, imaging workflows, and imaging informatics
- Strong understanding of Epic applications and healthcare clinical systems
- Working knowledge of servers, storage, databases, monitoring tools, and job scheduling systems
- Knowledge of SDLC, change management, and release management best practices

- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives in a small, high-accountability team
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work from planning through execution
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk, troubleshoot issues, and design solutions

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clinical and operational language
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, vendors, and cross-functional IT partners
