Job description
The Voice Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and supports voice communication
systems, including VoIP, PBX, SIP, and related telecommunications equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with telecommunications experience seeking to further develop their careers in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test voice communication equipment and services.

Provision and troubleshoot VoIP and SIP-based phone systems.

Support customers with voice service issues via phone, remote access, or onsite visits.

Perform network troubleshooting related to voice services.

Monitor service performance and document maintenance activities.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and collaborate with senior team
members on complex problems.

Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.

Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Structured cabling installation?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, solutions to residential and business customers. We are seeking a motivated Voice Technician
with telecommunications experience who is eager to expand their technical skills in voice
communications systems., * High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred.

1-3 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or a related field preferred.

Working knowledge of:

VoIP technologies

SIP protocols
-
PBX systems
-
Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches)

Structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure

Ability to use testing and diagnostic equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with hosted VoIP platforms.

Familiarity with Cisco, Adtran, Metaswitch, BroadSoft, or similar telecom systems.

Knowledge of fiber and broadband services.
-
CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar certification is a plus.
