Job description
- Assess and evaluate third-party vendor security practices, identifying risks and recommending improvements
- Partner with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to enhance technical security controls across systems and networks
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of Identity & Access Management (IAM), with increasing ownership over time
- Collaborate with IT teams to audit systems and networks, identifying vulnerabilities and gaps
- Assist in cybersecurity policy testing and implementation, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
- Participate in security incident investigations, including root cause analysis
- Contribute to security automation initiatives and evolving cybersecurity projects

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, sound judgment, and a desire to grow. You'll play a key role in strengthening our security posture-starting with vendor risk and technical controls-and evolving into ownership of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) program., * 3-5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
- Exposure to a variety of technical environments and systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare IT environments and HIPAA is a plus
- Ability to assess security across diverse vendors and platforms
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities
