Job description

Join us at Electronic Arts and help us inspire the world to play--where creativity, inclusion, and modern technology drive everything we do. As an Offensive Security Engineer, you will report to the Sr. Director Engineering, Application Security & Red Teaming and work with our Red Teaming and Application Security group. You will help us protect iconic franchises and global platforms by pressure-testing, exploiting, and securing AI-enabled systems and LLM-integrated workflows across EA's games and services. Responsibilities:

  • You will execute offensive security assessments and red team operations against AI-enabled applications, autonomous agents, and LLM-integrated ecosystems.
  • You will identify, weaponize, and validate vulnerabilities in LLM-based architectures, including prompt injection, data exfiltration, and insecure function calling.
  • You will map and exploit abuse paths within multi-agent workflows, focusing on privilege escalation and cross-agent manipulation.
  • You will design, build, and deploy custom attack tooling and AI-driven offensive agents to improve our red teaming and application security operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of offensive security, red teaming, penetration testing, or advanced application security experience.
  • Experience identifying, validating, and documenting complex vulnerabilities and exploit chains in modern applications, APIs, or cloud services.
  • Experience testing, bypassing, or exploiting AI-enabled systems, LLM integrations, or agentic workflows.
  • Proficiency in building custom exploit scripts or security tools using Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar languages.
