Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Technician to support the deployment and integration of complex hardware and software systems in a mission-critical environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.
What You'll Do
- Integrate hardware, software, and third-party components into larger system environments.
- Install, configure, and validate networked systems and applications.
- Develop and execute test plans to verify system functionality and compatibility.
- Configure and maintain test environments based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support root cause analysis activities.
- Document configurations, test results, and technical findings using established tools and processes.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and other technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in system installations, upgrades, and acceptance testing activities.
- Contribute ideas to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in systems integration, network engineering, testing, or technical support environments.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and troubleshooting principles.
- Experience working with Linux environments (Red Hat experience preferred).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and modern IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network protocols and voice technologies (VoIP experience is a plus).
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or other testing and collaboration platforms is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support project activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following would be considered an advantage:
- Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Java, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Virtualized environments
- Telecommunications or mission-critical systems
- Automated testing frameworks
- VoIP technologies
