Job description

Equity Staffing is seeking an Tier 1 End User Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and AV equipment.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced service desk environments and can hit the ground running.

Duties

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, OS, and software issues
  • Create, manage, and resolve tickets in ServiceNow within established SLAs
  • Image, configure, install, repair, and upgrade end user devices
  • Support users both remotely and onsite with troubleshooting and system access
  • Set up workstations for new hires and assist with office/equipment moves
  • Provide Tier-1 AV support for conference rooms and presentations

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED

  • 3-4+ years phone-based customer support experience with proven empathy, patience, and professional phone presence
  • Strong Service Desk / Help Desk background handling Tier 1 support tickets
  • Solid knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and troubleshooting methodology
  • Highly organized, self-starter who can manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
