Job description
Equity Staffing is seeking an Tier 1 End User Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and AV equipment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced service desk environments and can hit the ground running.
Duties
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, OS, and software issues
- Create, manage, and resolve tickets in ServiceNow within established SLAs
- Image, configure, install, repair, and upgrade end user devices
- Support users both remotely and onsite with troubleshooting and system access
- Set up workstations for new hires and assist with office/equipment moves
- Provide Tier-1 AV support for conference rooms and presentations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED
- 3-4+ years phone-based customer support experience with proven empathy, patience, and professional phone presence
- Strong Service Desk / Help Desk background handling Tier 1 support tickets
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and troubleshooting methodology
- Highly organized, self-starter who can manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
