SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration expertise and deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA. This is a business-facing functional role supporting multiple small-to-medium initiatives rather than a large-scale implementation project.

Do you have experience in Workshop facilitation?, The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across both SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, business process analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The consultant must be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and driving solutions from concept through deployment., 10-15 years of SAP functional experience across SAP SD and MM modules combined Strong hands-on configuration experience in both SD and MM SAP S/4HANA implementation experience Minimum 5-7 years of recent experience working with U.S.-based clients and stakeholders Experience conducting business workshops, blueprinting sessions, and fit-gap analysis Proven ability to manage functional deliverables independently Experience supporting analytics and reporting initiatives from a functional perspective Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Core Functional Expertise

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)

Hands-on configuration experience within Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes Sales Order Management Delivery Processing Billing and Invoicing Intercompany Invoicing (IC Invoicing) Returns and Order Fulfillment Processes Pricing knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory SAP MM (Materials Management)

Procurement process configuration Purchase Requisitions (PR) Purchase Orders (PO) Vendor Management Source Lists Info Records Inventory and procurement process understanding Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement workflows SD/MM Integration

Strong understanding of integration points between SD and MM, including:

Stock Transport Orders (STO) Intercompany Processes Master Data Dependencies Procurement-to-Delivery Integration Delivery and Billing Integration Cross-functional process impact analysis SAP S/4HANA Experience

Required experience with SAP S/4HANA including:

Lead SAP SD/MM functional activities including configuration, testing, and solution design. Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, blueprinting, and fit-gap analysis. Design and document functional solutions aligned with business requirements. Create and maintain functional specifications for SAP enhancements, integrations, and analytics initiatives. Support business reporting and analytics projects from a functional perspective. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues while coordinating with technical teams when necessary. Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements. Manage multiple concurrent project requests and priorities independently. Provide solution recommendations and explain business impacts of proposed changes. Required Soft Skills
