Job description

Create HIL test strategies, test cases, and scripts based on client, internal, and regulatory requirements.

Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests.

Support all release testing and bug triaging.

Help identify gaps in requirements and review the requirements for testability.

Work on setups to allow highly automated software release testing.
-
Create data acquisition systems for test data recording.
-
Document results and provide reports.
-
Establish traceability using requirement management tools and version control.
Requirements
Minimum skills:
-
3+ years of testing and validation experience.
-
Bachelor/master's degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
-
Has experience creating test cases using tracetronic ECUTEST
-
Experience with ford diagnositcs specification and .mdx files
-
Knowledge of lab instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies, and DAQs
-
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
-
Experience in Python scripting for any automation or test scripts.
-
Knowledge on general EV.
-
Any Software development/programming experience.

Ability to break down requirements into tests

Understanding of an electrical circuit concepts and basic schematics Desired skills:

Experience with industry standard I/O and communications interfaces, e.g., CAN and Ethernet, CAN-FD.

Experience with CANoe, CAPL, Control Desk, Configuration Desk, Typhoon, OPAL-RT, RT-Labs, Typhoon, NI veristand, test automation, and similar measurement systems.

Experience with automotive regulatory, environmental, reliability, and safety requirements such as SAE, ISO.

Working/Setting up experience with CANBUS and UDSISO14229
