Job description
Perform assigned duties in work center to custom weld metal parts together using specified IB International standards and practices., * To program Koike Plasma cutting punching center and OMAX Waterjet.
- Purchase all stock steel inventory, plate, bar, structural, exotic metals.
- Implement a steel consignment program, stock 40 sheets 10ga, 7ga, 1/4, 3/8,1/2 plate steel and pay for it as we use it. This frees up funds for other expenses.
- Assist in implementing a Made to Manage MRP Systems (Purchasing, inventory control, daily labor, etc.)
- Assist in buying various industrial weldments.
- Provide prints and CAD files to many welding manufactures.
- Program parts using Pronest.
- Reviews all job drawings and bill of materials to eliminate errors in the manufacturing process.
- Assist in trouble shooting problems in the manufacturing process.
- Evaluates steel drop to insure proper steel inventory
- Knowledge of process operations throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Water jet cutting (cutting method)?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Minimum of high school degree or GED, * Programming laser cutting or plasma cutting machines, or any other CNC machines
- Solidworks experience desired but not required
- 2D CAD software (AutoCAD) experience helpful but not required
- Other nesting software experience such as SigmaNest, Radan, NestFab helpful
