Job description

This consultant serves as Softura's embedded delivery anchor at Softura Healthcare Customer - equally at home advising senior AI managers on platform direction and standing up engineering teams to execute on it. They are the single point of accountability that gives customer confidence that Softura understands their world and can ship against it., * Bridge strategy and execution. Work directly alongside Customer's senior AI managers to take identified use cases from strategic intent to execution-ready initiatives - defining scope, sequencing delivery, and ensuring the right engineering resources are in place to build and ship.

  • Business problem ownership. Demonstrate deep understanding of customer clinical, operational, and financial priorities. Translate business problems into solution architectures, delivery plans, and technology choices - not just recommendations, but actionable paths forward with clear accountability.
  • Engineering Team leadership and direction. Structure, direct, and manage Softura engineering teams across active engagements - setting technical direction, removing blockers, managing delivery risk, and ensuring each team stays aligned to customer priorities and timeline expectations.
  • Technology advisory - Azure, GCP & AI. Guide customer teams on platform and architecture decisions across the Microsoft Azure stack (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric) as the primary environment, with working familiarity in GCP. Advise on long-term platform decisions.
  • Stakeholder trust and alignment. Build and maintain trusted relationships across customer AI managers, clinical leadership, IT, and innovation office. Serve as the connective layer between customer stakeholders driving direction and Softura teams executing - ensuring alignment is maintained as priorities evolve.
  • Roadmap and backlog stewardship. Maintain a living, prioritized AI transformation roadmap in partnership with customer leadership - continuously feeding the pipeline with well-scoped initiatives, tracking delivery progress across active engineering teams, and ensuring momentum is sustained from one engagement to the next.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technology management?, * 8-12+ years spanning solution consulting and hands-on delivery - with a track record that includes both advisory engagements and direct ownership of engineering execution in complex enterprise environments.

  • Proven experience leading or directing engineering delivery teams - able to structure engineering teams, set technical direction, and hold delivery accountable without being in the code.
  • Deep healthcare IT experience - working knowledge of Epic workflows, HIPAA compliance requirements, and the clinical and operational dynamics of a large integrated health system.
  • Strong Azure platform depth - advisory or hands-on experience across Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric; Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Working familiarity with GCP - sufficient to advise on platform trade-offs and engage credibly in HFH's parallel GCP evaluation alongside the primary Azure stack.
  • Comfortable operating at the senior stakeholder level - able to engage credibly with C-suite, clinical leadership, and senior AI managers while simultaneously driving engineering delivery with technical teams.
  • Solid command of AI agent architectures, LLM-based workflow automation, and the realities of taking AI solutions from POC to production-grade deployment in regulated, clinical environments., * Prior experience embedded at a large health system or IDN in a consulting, advisory, or engagement leadership capacity.
  • Domain familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle use cases - physician referral management, prior authorization, claim denial management, or supply chain automation.
  • Experience with Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Agent Service, or multi-agent orchestration patterns in a production context.
  • Background working alongside a health system's innovation, digital transformation, or AI center of excellence.
